"Y'all. I'm going to be thinking about THE MINUTES for QUITE some time. Stray Cat Theatre does it again." - KF

"I saw Stray Cat Theatre's show The Minutes tonight. My only regret is that I didn’t see it sooner so I could tell everybody to go see it! It was so awesome to see.CJ Mascarelli,Tim Shawver, and David Weiss and their hilarious touching powerful characters. The whole cast and show was wonderful! Thank you to all involved!" - SS

"I am so glad that I did NOT miss this. With a who's who cast of one of Arizona’s finest ensemble of actors- Tracy Letts’ THE MINUTES was a tour de force directed by Louis Farber. Tracy Letts, best known for August Osage County, this piece was a little more of an homage to his mother Billie Letts’ work “Where the Heart Is,” illustrating social justice and critical race theory (aka AMERICAN HISTORY) and the erasure of indigenous people’s truth and the slaughter of American Indians for the financial gain US settlers on native land all under the premise and guise of a town council meeting! (I know, right?) Thank you for the amazing storytelling and gorgeous performances by the entire cast Katie McFadzen, Tim Shawver, Tanner Conley, Johnny Kalita, Michelle Luz Nussbaum, Tony Latham, Kate Haas, Rob Stuart, and Ron May. But if you missed CJ Mascarelli’s return to the stage in this one, you missed one of the most masterful and artful performances of the season. Thank you, Stray Cat Theatre, for keeping it real. - DB

"Congrats to the cast and crew of The Minutes! Excellent show last night! So relevant and poignant! Amazing performances! You also reminded me why I hate being on my HOA board. It’s Just. Like. That!" - TB

"Yall know I will travel to the moon and back telling everyone along the way how much I love Stray Cat Theatre - And THE MINUTES was no exception! Story and script alone, it’s another great piece brought to life and given a beautiful platform here in Arizona. Production wise, it’s well-directed by my dear friend Louis who managed to rally a dynamite ensemble of AZ theatre royalty which happens to include good friends of mine and people I’ve been a fan of for some time. Every single person on that stage had incredible range and depth and not a minute went by (see what I did there) where I wasn’t in awe of them individually or their chemistry with each other. You’ve got one more week to see this production!" - VC

"Hey kitties. I got to take in the matinee of THE MINUTES at Stray Cat Theatre today. It's a fun, powerful piece of theatre, offering a razor sharp look at ways we progress as a society. The deft direction of Louis Farber provides a solid and intricate framework for each actor to shine. The characters provide nuanced foils for one another, each uniquely shaped by the histories they share. I loved that no matter who was speaking, the other characters were always quietly active in the background, driving the story forward in both small and critical ways. This one's a definite win, kitties. The run is entering its final week, so get those tickets!" - ET

"The Minutes, Tracy Letts's thought-provoking drama at Stray Cat Theater, warrants high praise. Its exceptional quality necessitates timely viewing. Louis Farber's careful direction and the outstanding cast deliver a believable and captivating performance. The exploration of narrative manipulation and control is strikingly relevant." - KS

"This Stray Cat Theatre show was quite the roller coaster. Go see friends!" - CM

"Outstanding cast and direction. Funny, relevant and shocking all at once. Perfect set. Great production." - PT

"So, let's talk about Stray Cat Theatre's fantastic production of The Minutes by Tracy Letts. How does this company ALWAYS pull together bonkers casts? Like, this is a literal who's who of valley theatre and IT SHOWS. It's also a show that you are likely to want to see a second time - I won't spoil anything here, but I will simply say that you are likely to leave the space rethinking all of what you just witnessed through a new lens than the one you walked in with. I personally feel compelled at least. The writing of this piece is so good. And because I already know this, it makes me wonder what I possibly didn't catch still or what connections I didn't make yet. It's meaty. The kind of meaty where you might not even realize when you're right in the middle of it. I personally loved that. It's very provocative. Every character and every performer is engaging. I laughed more than I expected to. The same is also true for how many moments made me recoil. The messages that I took away with me are ones that will be resonating for a bit. Louis Farber you and your team have a great deal to feel proud of and thanks for hanging out after. All the good things that have been said in the reviews - all of them are true fam." - NG

"I had the pleasure this afternoon of seeing Tracy Letts' play, The Minutes, as produced by Stray Cat.  The word that keeps coming to mind as to my reaction to the piece is " gobsmacked."  I have not been this engaged,  horrified,  surprised- yet not surprised, angry, or mesmerized by a piece of theatre in a good long while. My hat is off to the director, Louis Farber, and the cast  (including many good friends and colleagues) for taking me on this rather uncomfortable and often funny ride to Big Cherry. There is much to chew on and digest here. I am still thinking about it-a sign that someone/everyone is doing something right.  It was also fabulous to see some friends seriously throwing down after a few years away from the stage. Oh, how you have been missed!  Thanks for the brain food, y'all. Go see it if you can. It will not disappoint!" - DS

"Stray Cat does what they do best: an amazing production that starts out with some laughs at the quirky characters, proceeds to wrench your heart and bring you to tears, and then to horror. Thank you Louis Farber for the post-show discussion which helped bring what we'd experienced into focus! Bravo to Ron May, CJ Mascarelli, Kate Haas, Katie McFadzen, Tim Shawver and the rest of the cast for outstanding performances." - DT

"What a show! What a cast! What a director! Some of the best local theater I have seen in a few years!" - EM

"This is powerful theatre. Fantastic on the page and made magic by a masterful ensemble onstage and off. I might venture to say it’s my favorite Stray Cat Theatre production to date, and that is saying a lot as “Until the Flood” last season rocked me and “Pluto” remains a core memory, among others. If you want your truth unvarnished, your mirror unflinching, your comedy razor sharp, and your reveals breathtaking, you have two more weekends to get to Tempe Center for the Arts for “The Minutes.” - BF

"Wonderful show, just saw this. Great cast and story." - JR
