Eric is originally from the Phoenix area. This is Eric’s first season with the amazing and talented members of Stray Cat Theatre. He gained his BA in technical theater from Arizona State University and his MA in Scenography from Ohio University. Eric has been working in technical theater for the last 15 years. His work has been shown during the Prague Quadrennial as a winner of the Tobin Theater Arts Fund Award for his work in Ohio University’s Production of Marat/Sade. He worked for 2 seasons as the resident scenic designer for Midland Community Theatre. He designed their productions of Les Miserables, Assassins, The Producers, and RENT (AACT festival for design excellence). You may have seen his work in the valley in the past 2 years as Nearly Naked Theatre’s Resident Scenic Designer. His work with Nearly Naked earned him three ariZoni Award Nominations for The Muckle Man, Devil Boys from Beyond, and more recently the Phoenix Theatre collaboration of Spring Awakening. Eric is excited to be working with Stray Cat on their exciting new season.
